If you are traveling from abroad, don’t forget to check the expiration date on your passport. If you travel by plane, we recommend flying directly to the Puerto Vallarta (PVR) airport, although there is the option of flying into the City of Guadalajara and transporting yourself to Puerto Vallarta by land.

To get from the airport to the hotel, you can use the following options:
Airport Taxi Service
As you leave the airport through the arrivals area, you will see a Taxi ticket booth to secure a ticket for an authorized airport taxi.

We advise you to be careful not to accept any type of courtesy transportation from any hotel or timeshare representative unless you have made a reservation prior to your arrival.
Uber App
If you don’t mind walking a bit outside of the airport, you will save money by taking an Uber. As you exit the airport through the arrivals hall, walk towards the pedestrian bridge on your left side (passing the Oxxo inside the airport parking lot). You must cross the pedestrian bridge to get to the other side of the street to request the Uber, as they are not authorized to pick-up passengers inside the airport.

What is the deadline to confirm attendance?

Can children attend?

Since it’s a destination wedding, of course you can travel with the little ones. We love your children; however, the ceremony and reception on Saturday are events for parents and children 13 and older. We want you to have as much fun as possible on our big day!

We appreciate your understanding. That said, children are welcome on Friday for the Welcome Party and on Sunday for the Fun in the Sun event, as this day is for them!

For parents traveling with their children, we suggest traveling with someone who can support in taking care of the little ones during the event on Saturday. Another option is to hire on-site babysitting services. For more information, you can visit the following link to learn more about this service.

How is the weather in Puerto Vallarta during those dates?

Generally, the weather during the last days of January and early February is between 82 degrees during the day and 64 degrees in the evenings. These dates are considered the best weather in Puerto Vallarta throughout the year.

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Yes, both the religious ceremony and the reception will take place outdoors. We suggest bringing something to cover yourself in the evening.

What to wear?

On Friday, we will have a Welcome Party and the theme will be “White Party”. Don’t forget to bring your favorite white beach outfit and join the party (neutrals work as well)!

On Saturday, the attire is formal. Although a coastal wedding, we will not be stepping on sand. So, dust off those heels and dancing shoes!

On Sunday, we suggest wearing comfortable clothing such as shorts and t-shirts, as well as swimsuits for the Fun in the Sun event.

If interested in booking a room at the Host Hotel (The Westin Spa & Resort), below is some additional information:

We blocked a limited number of rooms at the Westin Resort & Spa. Given that this is a contractual agreement between the Grooms and the Host Hotel, some considerations have been established to be able to access the discounted rates. Additional details noted below.

What days are included in the room block at the Westin?

The reservation begins on Friday, January 24th and ends on Monday, January 27th. The reservation cannot be less than 3 nights in order to realize the discounted rates. However, you can certainly arrive before Friday and stay after Monday.

Is there a deadline to reserve a room at the Westin?

We don’t have a deadline as such, but the room block is on a first come, first served basis. We highly encourage you to make your reservation as soon as possible. If the number of rooms within the group reaches its limit, subsequent reservations will be subject to availability and according to the standard rate.

What type of room is included in the group rate (room block)?

Group rates are quoted at Run of the House Luxury Rooms.

Rooms will be assigned according to availability on the day of arrival.

Category Run of the House includes the following room categorires: Deluxe Partial Ocean View and Deluxe Ocean View, subject to availability. You also have the option to upgrade to a different type of suite, subject to availability.

Does the room rate include food and beverages (all-inclusive)?

No, the room reservation only includes the cost of lodging.

What other amenities are included as part of my reservation?

A welcome drink (non-alcoholic) upon check-in.

15% discount on Spa services for guests staying with the contracted group rates, does not apply to other Spa promotions.

What is the room cost per night?

The cost per night is $240 USD plus 19% taxes, per room, per night.

How many people can stay in a room?

The maximum number of people in a room is: tow (2) adults and two (2) children or three (3) adults and one (1) minor. Children under 18 years old free of charge sharing the room with two adults (accommodation only).

What are the hotel check-in and check-out times?

16. In addition to the accommodation charge, is there any extra charge?

Yes, in addition to the room charge, the hotel will add the following fees:

Bellboy tips of $6 USD (cost per person for entry and exit service; mandatory).

Housekeeping tips of $5 (cost per room, per night; mandatory).

Towels on loan outside of the property $2.50 USD and $26 USD per towel that is not returned

Cost per extra bed (rollaway bed) is $21 USD per night, only if you require the service.

What is the process to make my reservation?

If you have any questions, you can call the hotel's reservations department directly at +52 (322) 226-1100. The guest must identify themselves as part of the BODA ERIC & JAIME-25 group so that they are respected and the group rate applies. This rate will be granted until the rooms within the group are sold out. After this date any reservation will be made according to availability and the rate to be applied will be the current public rate, per room per night.

Can I secure the discounted group rate if I want to extend my stay?

The Hotel will extend the discounted group rate 3 days before and 3 days after the official group dates, subject to availability in Run of the House Luxury Rooms.

Is there a penalty if check-out early on the dates already reserved

The hotel may charge guests an early departure charge of $240 USD (plus 16% Tax and 3% Lodging Tax), as compensation for travel damage caused to the hotel due to unscheduled early departures.

An early departure fee will only be charged if the guest checks out of the hotel before their official departure date without notifying the Hotel at the time of check-in (or until midnight on the day of arrival), of the change in their departure date.

What other charges would be subject to a guest at the Westin?

Each guest will be responsible for settling the total of their account which covers incidental expenses generated during their stay (telephone calls, room service, pay per event rental, laundry, servibar, consumer centers, secretarial services at the business center). At the time of registration or check-in, each participant will be asked for a cash or credit card deposit to guarantee any incidental expenses.
